Why patients choose the doctor they see first
The Shebl team
Before patients book an appointment, they pick up their phones. They search for whatever is worrying them, watch, and read the comments. By the time they walk into the clinic, they already have an opinion of the doctor.
Being seen is part of being trusted
Patients look for reassurance first. A doctor who explained their condition in a short video, in words they understood, already feels familiar. And familiar is closer to trusted than a stranger, however long the stranger's experience.
Experience doesn't show on its own
Many doctors have years of experience, and it stays inside the clinic. Not for lack of knowledge, but because content is a job of its own: choosing topics, writing, filming, publishing on a schedule. All of it takes time a doctor doesn't have.
What do patients see first?
They see what is published regularly, in their own words. With Dr. Mahmoud Alageeli, an ENT consultant, his content became one of the first things patients see when they look for an ENT doctor, within his first month with us.
That didn't happen by chance. We studied what people ask about in his specialty, wrote a clear answer to each question, and published on a schedule.
Being seen is a responsibility
Visibility isn't hype. Patients trust the doctor who explains clearly and promises no guaranteed outcome. That is why the doctor approves every script for medical accuracy before filming, and every medical decision stays his.
Where to start
Start with one question: what do patients find today when they search for your specialty? If they don't find you, they find someone else.
That is where we start with you: we review your account and tell you what works, what doesn't, and why.
