What Dr. Mahmoud's first month taught us
The Shebl team
Dr. Mahmoud Alageeli, an ENT consultant, started with us from zero: long experience, and no presence on social media. In his first month, his content passed 24M views across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with no paid ads.
Here are four lessons we took from it.
Starting from zero is not a handicap
He had no followers and no earlier content. Still, he passed 14M views on YouTube alone in the first month.
Patients don't ask how many followers a doctor has. They ask whether this doctor understands what they feel.
The patient's words before the doctor's
We wrote every script in the words patients use when they describe the problem at home, not the term a doctor writes in the file. Dr. Mahmoud reviewed and approved every script for medical accuracy before filming.
The information stayed accurate. The language came closer.
Views turn into searches
Within the same month, his content became one of the first things patients see when they look for an ENT doctor. A view doesn't end with the video. It becomes a name patients search for.
Results differ from doctor to doctor
We don't promise guaranteed outcomes. Results depend on your specialty and on filming regularly. The way of working stays the same: we research before we write, we write every word, and we film in one day.
